When building our client websites often the WordPress platform is an ideal fit for their needs. The openness and extensibility of the platform allows web developers to create amazing and powerful websites. For many of the features that we build into websites, often the functionality has already been created by someone else in the form of a Plugin.
While we do use quite a few of the plugins that other people have created to ease the costs of our development, there has been a couple of occasions where we just couldn’t find the right functionality already built. In those cases, we were able to create our own plugins and release them for free for other WordPress developers to use.
